I have had my transformer for a few weeks now and have been very happy with it, but now it will no longer power up. It seems to be completely dead. Has anyone else had this problem. Looks like it will need to go back unless there is someway of doing a reset.

Anyone has any experience of returns to Asus?

What have you tried so far? I know that I have had to hold down the power button on mine for 10-12 seconds to get mine to respond a couple of times.
What exactly happens when you attempt to turn it on?

I just held down the power button for a good 10-15 seconds and it has suddenly sprung into life. Seems to be a little bit of a bug. Really weird, I thought it was dead for ever. Thanks

I believe there is a software bug that prevents it from waking up if it has been asleep for an extended period of time. Holding down the power button must hard reboot it. I'm sure this will get worked out in a future update.

Glad you are back in business.

I fixed my sleep issue by disabling the lock screen and setting the display to never time out. I now have no problems in the morning after my tf has been asleep for hours.

Sounds like more of a "workaround" than a "fix". I typically try not to classify disabling features that are present and should work properly a "fix".

Let's hope that ASUS or Google have a solution to this in the works.

Thanks for posting the info on this. I was getting a bit worried mine had bricked only after 2 days.
