Tried gaming for the first time on S22 😱

Battery depreciated by 37% in about 40 minutes of game play. Woof. Better have a charger or a power bank handy if you are going to play anything graphic intensive.

It was bad enough for me to uninstall COD mobile even though I like that game quite a bit.. that seems to be quite a bit of power sapping even for a graphic heavy game-- didn't even have the HD resources downloaded either.

Still a good phone but I just think the battery is too weak to game much st all on it.

That's what happens when everyone wants console gaming quality in a paper thin device. Something has to give, and it's usually the battery capacity. This isn't specific to the S22 either, but phones in general have become power hungry as processors, memory, and storage all become more powerful.

Kind of ironic we get continually get more power efficient technology yet they continue to sacrifice efficiency to push more processing power to win benchmarks.

I was always amazed when people believed those type of PR descriptions each year.

Not really no. It was a little warm but I wouldn't say hot
