Tried to get my note 3 at best buy today, but walked out empty handed.

I went to best buy and they wouldn't price match radio shack because it was Web only. So I ended up calling my local Sams club and they were selling it for 288. So after trade in of my note 2 and price match I paid about 110 or so.

I went to a T-Mobile store in a slightly lower sales tax location. They wouldn't sell me a phone outright saying they would only sell on contract until the end of the "special event". Went 2 miles over to a higher sales tax location and they sold me one, no questions asked. Punched my SIM card down to size and it was ready to roll.

I work for BBY (Geek Squad) and i've heard no issues here on Long Island, NY... Also, we (Bestbuy) does price match legit companies.

Got mine at Sprint yesterday. They were having issues with the SKU on the Note 3, and compounding that was the One Up program and the give back vs buy back. It took about 90 minutes total, but I got the black one on One Up and paid $41 in taxes out the door. Sweet deal for me since I just plunked down $500 on a washer today.
