Hey so i got the android 4.2.2 update on my nexus 4 a few weeks ago and every time i try to install it with CWM, it always fails to install.
First it says it's an un-trusted package and whether or not i would like to install it, i say yes but then the installation is aborted. Does anyone know why this is or how i can fix it? Thanks.

Go in the app store and get goomanager. It installs cwm for u it can also flash roms.. I promise u will b happy

You must be completely stock for the OTA package to install correctly.

Goomanager installs TWRP as your recovery. ROM Manager installs CWM. However this is not related to OP's question, lol :)

Well on my end I've noticed the update notification 2x now. Each time I've tapped on it ("touch to install") the phone reboots and *stays* on 4.2.1. Nothing changes. I always go into settings -->about phone to verify. Then a day or two later, I get the update notification again..."System update downloaded...touch to install". Rinse, wash, repeat, apparently, lol. Not that I mind staying on 4.2.1, it works just fine and has that nifty LTE option. But I heard there may be better battery life yonder in those .2 fields. Suggestions, anyone?

BTW, rooted but still running stock.

If you have changed anything in your system given your root access, then you are not stock. If the update isn't installing you must not be stock.. As in stock everything, stock kernel, stock recovery, etc etc..
