Trouble registering S7 Edge at Samsung?

So I got my S7 Edge in the mail today and of course I go to Samsung.com to register it and get my discount code for accessories. Well, for the first time ever (I've had ever Galaxy S phone and every Note) it wouldn't recognize my info. It keeps saying:
To get support, you must enter the HEX/MEI Number and Purchase Date of your product.

HEX/IMEI Number
XXXXXXXX

Please use the HEX/MEI Number found on the actual product, not the box.

Its a Verizon Gold S7 Edge. Anyone else having trouble?
 
I registered my Verizon Black Onyx Edge earlier automatically. I set the phone up and Samsung did it for me.
 
Yep, when setting up the phone logged in with my samsung account, and got an email saying phone registered and had the discount.
 
You were right. I had skipped that step on the phone because I didn't want to fully set it up as my phone. It's going to be my wife's and I just wanted to play with it for a couple days. I logged in and got the email right away.
