Troubleshoot GPS

Hi,

All apps that require GPS that are installed on my device display a message stating "Looking for GPS sensors" and thus don't work. Such an app is GPS status', which fails to display longi/lati-tude, yet its 'diagnose sensors' feature says that I have a GPS sensor available. This happens indoor or outdoor away from trees and buildings. I have GPS Services > GPS Satellites enabled. Any suggestion?

Device: ZTE Avail 2 a.k.a Z992, no phone/data plan.

Re: Troubleshoot GPS

Hello. That's an unusual setup.
That ZTE relies on one aGPS receiver, not regular GPS
This statement seems to be contradicted by this:

In my device, there are two, non exclusive, options under Location Services:
- GPS Satellites
- Assisted GPS
and this webpage indicates the second is indeed only complementary. Whether it is enabled or disable does not change the diagnostic stated in my initial post: any app needed GPS that I have used, can't find GPS censors.
