Hi. I am trying to connect a tablet with a USB micro B port to a TV which only has a VGA port (no HDMI). The intention is to use the TV to display video from the tablet, like movies or Youtube, etc.
I'm struggling to find an adapter that doesn't require HDMI on either the tablet or the TV. I thought I'd found one that had micro HDMI and micro USB ports, but it turned out that the micro USB was power, only, so I'm returning it.
I think there is something basic that I don't understand, like the difference between USB and HDMI.
Is it possible to transmit video through a USB? Or must I somehow set up a USB to HDMI to VGA connection?
Cheers
