Trying to get back to stock after rooting...

I have been reading threads for 2 days straight but can't seem to find one that addresses my specific problem. I run Odin, click PDA and select the DI01package3.tar.md5 i downloaded. When i click start I get a "check image file" error message and nothing happens. I'm lost on what to do....any help would be wonderful.

sounds like you need to reload your drivers. do you get the yellow download screen. also no battery in download mode.

Yep, got the battery out and the yellow triangle is there...gonna try reinstalling the drivers.

Try redownloading the package. Sounds like it was corrupted

Hey I hope this will help you. If you downloaded the file using firefox it won't work. Try explorer. It worked for me. Try it and see if that works for you because I too was getting the failed message. You have nothing to lose. Plus make sure you have a backup because you will go back to how you got it out of the box.

if you continue to have trouble with DI01.... try the DL09 package

there is also the dj05 package.

it sounds like one of two things to me

currupt package. i did not realize the package would not work if downloaded through firefox. that should not be an issue, but worth a try.

driver issue. this is what i think it is. uninstall everything related to this phone on your computer. reinstall drivers from the link on xcons how to root page. got another all in one package and try it again. or if that doesnt work, flash the modem, kernel and rom seperately. if you do it that way, dont forget to load the pit file.
