Trying to install CM7 with ZVJ - possible?

As the subject says...

The phone originally was a ZVH phone when I first got hold of it.

I rooted it, installed Xionia and installed CM7 without issue in less than 10min.
Afterward, I noticed the radio wasn't working, so I started looking around on here for a few hours to no avail.

Is it possible to run Drew's flavor of CM7 with the ZVJ baseband\radio? I've double flashed the ZVJ update.zip trying to get the radio to stick but it still doesn't have any service.

What else am I missing?

There isn't (currently) a version of CM7 that works with ZVH/ZVJ.

That's correct, ZVD only as of now.

You need to downgrade to ZVD or if you are on ZVJ give gingerrom a spin

Yeah I just reverted back to ZVD and it's working.

So is that last baseband\radio that works with CM7? ZVH doesn't either (just for clarification)?

Are there any 100% stable ROMs that can run on ZVJ?

This is currently the only ZVJ baseband rom. But give it time to mature, this baseband is less then a week old and we only got the update.zip 2 days ago.

There has also been some success with simply flashing roms from the zvh baseband, but do so at your own risk as some features may be broken or unstable (Roms; HydroRom, YourMomRom, gRom, optiRom)

Some members have reported it working, but not really supported.

On the surface peoples' experience has been ZVH and ZVJ radio/modem are interchangeable.

That means ZVH ROMs should work with ZVJ radio and ZVJ ROMs should work with ZVH radio.

ZVD ROMs though will have data issues with ZVH/ZVJ and probably vice-versa.

As more people install ZVJ we may find some differences though so don't take this as gospel.
