Trying to open a video on S3

Took a 20-25min video. Got home and couldn't find it on the phone. After googling I downloaded a file manager and found a file in my Lost.dir folder. Pretty sure its the video but it won't play at all. I got it onto my PC, and tried changing it to a .mp4 file and still wouldn't play. I tried downloading a different player and wouldn't play either version.

Is there anything I can do to make it play? Ideally we want to put it on youtube....

Welcome to Android Central! Was the camera set to save to Internal Storage or to the SD card by default? A 20 minute video would be a pretty large file--especially if it was HD. So if you didn't have enough space in your default storage location, the save might have failed.
