Trying to put a 6GB file on my SD card, no disk space available?

I am trying to put a rather large file on my SD card. I have the phone connected through USB as a disk drive. When i try to transfer the file over, it says there is no disk space available. This is not true as I checked that I have 29GB free. Whats going on here?

Fat32 can't handle file sizes above 4GB... That's my best guess.

FAT32 is to blame... You may use winrar and break up the file...
