Tunderbolt restarting

Has anyone had an issue with their Bolt randomly restarting on them? I called VZW tech support and they said there was no known issue with this. Just want to know if there is a way to stop this from happening or do I have to just deal. The tech rep wasn't too helpful it sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about, but it's a newer phone and I can understand if they haven't had this problem much. I'm coming to the Android Central community because I know I can get help. Thank you!

Mine did it last night. First time it has happened. I was playing a game for about 15 min, and it just turned off. Took about 3 minutes before it turned back on. I'm pretty sure it overheated. Not sure why it would do that, but it was pretty warm

I did the update and now my phone does the same thing. Restarted twice today. Before the update i had no issues with restarts. Are you running luncher pro?

No I'm not, stock everything...it did it before the update too.

Mine did this once after the update. Never did it before; it has rebooted before, but never just stayed off.

mine randomly does it too. started after the leaked update came out and I put that on. Its really annoying....

Mine has restarted 3 times today, after the update. Hopefully they fix it soon.

I don't mind the reboots. But if my phone doesn't turn back on I'll miss my alarm and be late for work!

Mines rebooted at least 3x today since the radio update... this is pathetic. I don't really want to root but it's looking more and more like I may have to, I thought HTC was supposed to have great customer service and updates, or is it VZW and their corporate bloatware bull **** thats slowing this all up?

Mine started having random reboots a week after I got it. I also got it the day it came out, happens at least once a day. I just deal with it cause it still trumps the bb I upgraded from.

Dang, I knew it wasn't just me. Mine TB has done this about three times since I pushed the update and I don't want to deal with it because my phone was great before this update. UGH!

There was another thread on this already, The reboot/power down has been an issue since launch. I never had the prob till about two weeks ago and I have had, about 3 reboots. I have not been able to pinpoint if it was an app or loss of signal as they were all different situations.
In the last thread, I was asking people with the prob to post : Rooted/unrooted, 4G or 3G, stock battery or aftermarket. Now seing as it was a mix between all of those things and after the update too, I assume that it maybe a bug in the OS but to rule out an app which it could very well be, as I have found several with a lot of apps so far. I ask if you are will to please post when it happens with a few criteria, so we as a community can solve an issue.

Please list :
-Top level app running
-Background apps that may have been running that you may suspect
-Frequency that it happens
-Do you use the VZW crapware
-Percentage of battery you have left when it happened
-Were you pushing the phone hard or was it idle, medium hard

after the update, mine has rebooted every 4-5 minutes. Was on the phone with customer support. She had me try a factory reset, pulled the sim card.. still rebooted. Replacement phone is on the way
