Tunderbolt restarting

Whats amazing to me is when you call Verizon, and they contact HTC and both of them say this is not a "known issue" yet there are now two news articles that show up on google about the problem and countless pages of threads with the issue.

2 reboots that Ive seen in the last 24 hours. Zero reboots before update. bought phone on day 1, unfortunately installed update as soon as it was available. I should know better. FML

I dont believe VZW is being completely honest with their customers. I contacted them two days ago concerning the rebooting issue and they claimed to have no clue about it. Whatever! They didnt offer much help. Their suggestion was to delete ALL of my apps, run my phone for about two days and then put them back on. Or I could do a master reset... The update did not fix the battery life for me. I have a feeling it will be a few updates before our issues with the Thunderbolt are resolved.

I sent @VZWSupport a message on twitter this morning about the 12+ reboots and 1 shutdown I had this weekend and their reply was:
@michaellcousins The cause of this issue is currently being investigated. We appreciate your patience with this matter. *AT
So they are aware there is a problem..

Strangley enough I havn't had any reboots yesterday or today....of course now that I said that.

Tons of re-boots for me over the weekend. It was always when traveling in the car though maybe the cell towers do have something to do with it..... Called HTC and Verizon, of course, no one knows of this issue and just suggests a Factory Master Reset, BOOOO

It looks like it may very well be a radio software bug. Mine only restarts when I am streaming. Each time I go on Youtube and play a music video from it, it will reboot in the middle of it or towards the end. If I do not stream anything, my phone does not reboot so it looks like anything that is data intensive will cause a reboot.

Thankfully have not had any reboots in the last 24 hours. Not sure why. Did remove some of my apps. Also ran the phone in safe mode for about a day. Knock on wood...

My T-Bolt restarted randomly today while I was in a call. This is the first time since I've had the phone this has happened. Mine is all stock. Just did the OTA update yesterday. Anyone else? Any thoughts on a solution?

My TB reboots itself 2x a day before and after the OTA , I don't have any idea whats causing this self reboot. Maybe there is an app incompatibility? Anyone?

I talked to Verizon last night. They had me to do a factory reset. It didn't help so are sending me another phone. They had not heard of the issue either. Today I called HTC. There is a known issue and they are working to fix it. I told them they were about to lose a lot of customers because of this if it wasn't fixed fast. I mean can't even talk on the phone without it cutting off

More than likely the new radio. Random reboots are nothing new to the android world though.

I got my new phone yesterday, and now I'm reset free (so far), the GPS is improved, and i'm back to standard battery performance.

The update process ran three times on the device, and when I did it on the previous device, it only went through one round of updating. Not sure if this is because of whatever firmware the new device came with, or if that was the intention originally, but things seem good to go now running on both 4G or wifi.
