Turbo Incompatible with Bose QC 15

Can only hear out of left side. Had same problem with 2014 X. Seems there is a problem with the triple thread ring on male into the phone. None of the work arounds seem to work for me. Anyone resolved this issue without purchasing a new double thread cord?

I believe there is a switch or a separate cable for use with Android. My son had the same problem with his.
