Turn off Emoji suggestions while typing??

I was able to turn off the Emoji suggestions (aka when it puts a grey bubble around text that has a corresponding emoji) when I first got the phone, but they seem to have returned and I can't find a way to turn them off again. Anyone know where to find it?

Are you on Verizon, using the message + app? If so it's in the settings of the verizon messaging app.

Oddly enough I had just fixed it...I selected "Enable Smart Emojis" and then deselected it again, and it seems to have worked. It wasn't selected, but was apparently enabled anyways. Thanks, though.

I have tmobile. This was an option on the note 4 but i can't find it anywhere now :-( any help?

I found out this "problem" is from the Verizon Message+ app. You can either switch back to the regular messaging app through disabling Message+ in your phone's Application Manager, or, from within the Message+ interface, go to the upper left and click on the menu (horizontal lines), then on the next page, scroll to the bottom and click on Settings (looks like a gear) then click on Conversations. Once there, click to turn off "Enable Smart Emojis."
