Turn off sound notification for Facebook app

[Android Central Question]

Hi
I am getting a loud annoying 'ding' sound notification for some posts in the FB app, usually from groups. the groups are set to Push notification but the Push setting are for no sound

Do I manuualy need to modify each group individually as well - or can I set them all to the same at the same time

I think the sounds only started after a recent 'upgrade'!

I uninstalled Facebook. I'm tired of all the liberalism ans st00pid people that use it. There re other way to communicate with people, and if you want to be involved with "social networking" you should join a golf club or stay around after your Church service ends.

Changes to how Facebook works are up to the people working at Facebook who develop the apps. You can try emailing them at android-support@fb.com.
