Turning Digital Wellbeing Off

Makes sense.

Discussions of battery life are frustrating for me because they rarely mention use beyond, "Normal use." I'm mostly deaf so I don't do four phone calls a month. I do a lot of text messaging. No games. No what's called social media. No music.

I'm loving having it off to be honest. Phone feels smoother and my battery (which was always decent) seems better.

I agree, plus I have no need for itGood find , Interesting it would do that.
Also found an article reporting the same on androidcentral and dated may 8th. Going to test it again. I turned it off for a few hrs like almost a day but I don't think I notice much of a difference. I'm going to reboot and give it at least 3-4 days.

Yeah definitely like to know the outcome.

i question the effect of disabling usage access for dwb on Pixel 3 since re-enabling late in the day appeared to show app usage from earlier in the day when usage access was disabled.

When you disable it it tells you that when you re-enable it you will still get the last 10 days of usage so to me it tells me it continues to capture data. I have had it off for about a day and a half and not noticing any real increase on my battery capacity on my pixel 3 xl.

Same experience on my three as well. I've had digital well-being turned off for about a day and a half testing the performance and the battery on my phone. Performance was never horrible because I'm on Android Q beta to start off with. As far as a battery, haven't really noticed too too much of a difference honestly.

That's exactly my experience as well. I do say being on Android Q beta 3 my phone definitely feels snappier than Android P and the camera is much quicker. I know there was an update that supposedly fixed the camera but I was on Q already so can't say the same for Android P. Also I don't remember the last time me having the camera app opener and taking photos or recording video making it force close music etc or other apps. This is the experience I wish I had since day one.

I totally for sure does! Everything in the operating system and beta 3 feel snappy as hell! Love all the new gestures as well!

Has anyone revoked access to their digital well-being?

I'm on day two and my phone seems to be handling ram way better than it has before.. It's also even smoother .. Also my battery seems to be more stable now.. I would like to know if anyone has done this and if they have, what type of benefits have they achieved.

I've had digital wellbeing turned on from the day I got my phone. The difference in the battery life is huge as is most apps, especially AndroidAuto.

I've had digital well being turned on as well since day one and now I have it off for a couple of days but I can't notice a difference. I wish I notice a difference as well any battery bump would be great.

What OST is everyone averaging?
