Turning off Currents and Google +

It used to be possible to save battery time by inactivating Currents and Google + (without inactivating google mail). In Android 4.4 I can't find a way to do it. It used to be possible on previous versions of Android.

Both of mine are disabled and I am on 4.4.2, Where are you having the problem? Because it is still done the same way as before.

You mean you don't have a Disable option in Settings/Apps/All? Make sure you have uninstalled all updates first.
