TV does not recognize Chromecast.

Chromecast is plugged into correct HDMI input. Remote is on same HDMI input selection. Chromecast is displaying a blinking white lite but the TV just is black screen.

Welcome to Android Central! What brand and model is the TV? Does it have multiple HDMI inputs? If so, try different inputs.
