And what rcpa said is true... These are not legitimate streams... But I use them anyways.

I subscribe to Megavideo /Megaupload... But the first server (Karamazov or something....) is good and does not need subscription....same for Loombo and Frog-something.... It's up to you.

Just tried the TV Streams Lite and works well enough for me to buy. I open the Lite app and it says "Thanks for the 50,000 downloads! We are offering 50% off this weekend. Buy Pro for $3.99". I Click the Buy It link, takes me to the Market and it's $5.99 or 25% off. Guess I'll wait a day or 2 and see if the price drops in the Market when the weekend is officially here.

Previously they were offering the 50% discount until Monday, May 16th. I suspect they just forgot to update that text. But maybe they will offer it again.

No, it isn't I didn't sign up for this, I already had a subscription with Megaupload before I got this app.
But you really don't need a subscription to Megavideo...as there are other servers as well. And you can still watch on Megavideo without subscription..... It just makes you take a break of 30 minutes (?) after every 75 minutes of watching.

Thanks prakash99! Just bought and installed. Quick question, didn't see it in the install notes on Market. I don't need to keep the Lite version anymore correct? I can uninstall it? The 2 versions don't appear to have an interdependency but I thought I'd ask before deleting.

I don't know that either and I have kept it. But we can always get rid of the Lite version and see if it still works. If not, we can always download it back. I'm gonna do it now.

I realize it may not have gotten the best reviews around here, but I just bought Movie Stream too since it's half off now too. I'm not spending money, I'm saving money.

prak - I'm a little lost on the Megavideo and Megaupload thing. Are they same thing? Could you explain a little to me what they do and the costs, please?

Edit - I quit being lazy and read back over the thread so it's a little clearer. Feel free to elaborate thought.

Megavideo and Megaupload are two services of the same thing. They have other services like Megapix etc. But you don't need separate premium memberships for each... One account works for all. Megaupload is like rapidshare where you can upload your files and share with others (somewhat like dropbox). Megavideo is for streaming videos.

Like I mentioned earlier a premium membership is not really needed for these apps as there are other options for streaming servers and those are free. I used Megavideo only because I already had the premium account with them even before I purchased this app. Well, maybe for MovieStreams you may need one if you want to go for Megavideo (some movies are on Megavideo server only) as non-premium accounts makes you wait half an hour after every 75 minutes.

The premium account costs $9.99 a month but I buy three months account for $19.99.... I think they also have a Lifetime premium account for some whopping one-time price.

Glad I could help There are some good blockbuster movies on Movie Stream, I just watched Die Hard With A Vengeance earlier this week. But still I want Netflix to watch movies.

seems that a lot of shows are beginning to show "content removed" when using the Megavideo link on the app.

i use it as my primary source--but am frequently using Karambavidz or Frogmovz links---as i've yet to experience any "break time" after using their servers after 75 minutes as is mandatory with MegaUpload.
for others, i'm sure paying the premium $9.99/month is resonable---and many have their reason, but i wouldn't open an account with them JUST to bypass the "break time" when i could simply use another source link like Karambavidz.

edit: i realize this looks like i'm in disagreement with you--but i'm actually agreeing. half hour every 75 minutes is really not bad at all.

I had Megaupload account that I use for filesharing. And I got Megavideo as a bonus. I wouldn't have paid for it just for this.
I find megavideo easier to navigate but I find Karambavidz and Loombo have better buffering. Besides those servers let us use external viewers which in turn enable us to download the video for offline viewing via Real Player
