Android Central Question

My mobile attaches to my dashcam on my bike through wifi. The dashcam is the Drift Ghost XL. I also use my mobile for Google Maps and for streaming music, both of which need a data connection of the mobile. Hence I need to be connected to the Dashcam through wifi and simultaneously connect to the internet through my mobile data service. As of now - have not found anything that can keep both the connections active at the same time. My mobile device is the Android OnePlus 7T pro Maclaren edition (if that helps).

Why do you need to be continually connected to the dashcam? Doesn't it record without a data connection. AFAIK you only need a wifi connection to review footage?
