Two Different S6's Two Different Problems With "Ok Google"

Purchased two S6's about a week ago, both having problems with "Ok Google" .

First problem is when I try to voice dial Mom/Dad it ask "Who is mom" or "Who is dad". I pick a contact manually, but there's no option to set it as Mom/Dad. My Wife's S6 works and her contact for her Mom/Dad are set the same.

Second problem on her phone, anytime its giving a voice command, it doesn't speak back even though Speech output is set to on. That's on all voice commands.

Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated

I was able to set it up by telling ok google "joe is my dad" then clicked to confirm and it showed as a nickname. Then I could say "call my dad" & it worked.
Not sure on voice issue, maybe do a cache wipe?
(Btw I have sprint, not sure if that matters)
