two whatsapp backups

i backed my whatsapp on.google drive but sadly when instaling again in a new device i.didnt activate the backup

so i ended up starting from.zero with another back up

now i have a new device again and i realy need the first backup for its were most of the conversations and other relevant infomation are

If your old back up is in Google Drive, once you initiate the restore it won't wipe anything that's newer than the back up, it just restores previous messages included with it, so it should just merge with your existing newer chats.

Just in case, however, back up your current state first to a different file, then restore the previous one. That way if anything happens you still have your current back up and you're back to where you started (instead of losing data).
