Ugh my ringer keeps going off!

So my call ringtone goes off this morning and I pick up the phone and nothing. No missed calls or rxts or emails. Ok weird. But it has done it about 50 more times today. I have shut it off and it's still doing it. I love this phone but this is really annoying.

Have you tried a restart? That's always your first option.

I have seen things like this only when I cleared away a notification for an SMS text, but had not actually gone into the messaging app and read the text. The phone kept nagging me about every five minutes. When I finally figured it out, is was a "DOH" moment!

First thing idid was restart the phone. It is so odd.u

Hey, les, just had a thought, here: Is there a chance you have accidentally set an alarm on your phone and it never got reset? I know it's a long-shot, but I also know that when you are frustrated, you'll try anything!

You'd think an alarm would show up in notifications. My suggestion is to change the ringers of all apps you use ringers on. If the problem tone changes you might be able to pin point the problem.

I agree, but like I said, when you are stabbing around for a solution, ...

Finally figured if out. I uninstalled a missed phone call app and it hasn't gone off for an hour. It was driving me insane ringing every 10 minutes. My kids on the other hand thought it was hilarious.
