UI 7 Things You Like / Dislike

Either I’m on shrooms or the update has removed trusted devices from extend unlock. I see the on-body detection option, and the trusted places option, but I no longer see the trusted devices option. Verizon, S24 Plus.
It's still showing up on my s24U unlocked from T-Mobile.

Hopefully, another a locked Verizon device user chimes in. Meanwhile, you might try clearing your cache partition & see if that helps.

PS.. Share the Shrooms. ;)

Ok, was able to solve this and bring back the trusted device option by wiping cache and data for Google Play Services (recently updated), and then wiping the cache partition. Voila.

I must be hallucinating as I hear Rod Serling's voice - "You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind...That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop...One UI7"

Nice!! I'm glad you were able to solve it. (y)

Love the Rod Serling reference. 🤣
Of course, now when a One UI 7 problem arises, I'm going to hear that music...

I'm on Exynos version and I must say that battery life is not what it used to be. It's like percentage is falling faster than on OneUI6 while I'm using the phone.

Man, if you don't use the Samsung launcher, it barely feels like an upgrade - just the typical "Let's add some more white space around every element so I can get my promotion" upgrade.

One thing I noticed is that the lock screen notifications can't be adjusted with Good Lock, so you can easily get overlapped elements if you add widgets.

I'm still using Nova Launcher and OneUI 7 has caused 2 changes.
1) There's now some required padding around the edge of the screen. Some widgets can't seem to reach the edge regardless of their padding setting.
2) Wonky widget scaling, like for the Buds Pro 2 battery widget. The size and number of elements inside are all wonky.
Hopefully those get fixed, but this might be enough to get me to (finally) transition to another launcher.

Has anyone had issues with the Google Clock alarms? After the update, they didn't seem to go off a few times, or were at a low volume. I think it might have to do with playing through a BT headset. Sometimes, I fall asleep wearing a headset at a very low volume, but the alarm still played (loudly) via the phone speakers. I'm not sure that's the case now.

Have you tried the default Samsung clock app? It works fine for me. I've never used the Google clock app on any Samsung phone, so I can't say anything about its reliability.
