Did you install the LG Mobile Update tool first? KP500 requires it.

Allright so i installed nameless rom on my optimus last night and couldnt get internet(MSID Wasnt correct) i diddnt know this at the time so i was lurking the forums and did ##786# reset as soon as i did it i had a bad feeling then after it wiped it went to recovery then i installed nrom again and rebooted nothing it rebooted straight to recovery and has been seince my recovery is thunders 1.1.0-GNM... ive tried unbrick method but everytime after i enter the Version i get this ImageShack? - Online Photo and Video Hosting

I can't tell you how many times this has saved my ass. Props to beezy and zefie lol Just unbricked my phone after messing with MTD partition sizes.

im not even getting into emergency mode anymore !!! bricked my phone ..it said fastbooting mode on and stuck there.. i tried downloading KDZ and all... tried updating... had modem off.. disabled it.. could get into emergency mode by volume down + back + entering the usb cable at the same time.. btw i have LG P500.. had downloaded v100_e .. didnt work.. the phone was stuch in boot loops.. lg sign kept coming and going... now what to do ? now no bootloops also ! its doesnt start at all ! screen remains blank no matter what i do !!!

I get to the final step, but the thing is that the LG Update software doesn't ask me to restart it.

Edit: I get this message: "Update is not possible any longer due to a fatal error with the LG Mobile Phone Software Update."

you can try the unbrick methods, but it sounds like your device is done. Rom Manager is a BIG ISSUE. There is a sticky warning about Rom Manager just because of this. I have seen way too many people brick their phones. I dont know anyone that has unbricked from what u have done. Doesn't mean its not possible.. just that this form of brick may be a lil trickier.

The only thing I can think is I dont have LG drivers set up on my machine. I installed KP500 tool, wouldnt that have given me drivers needed?

EDIT...just installed drivers, gonna try again. It has been getting all the way to where it boots the phone and dies.

drivers just installed when putting battery in and restarting, hope its good!

EDIT #2 It WORKED!!! For those who get stuck at 99% keep trying to get into recovery, I did it over and over and then it didnt go into recovery but a LG style factory reset, then phone booted into stock VC
