Unable to use Samsung EVO Plus Micro-SD 256GB Card in Galaxy S8+

[Android Central Question]

Error messages displayed when attempting to copy a file to the newly installed card:
"Permission to operate SD card"
"You must perform the certain steps to grant SD card access rights."

The File Manager apps used all had "Storage" as one of the permissions.

Problem continued even after re-formatting the micro SD Card, re-assigning the "storage" permission, and re-booting the S8+.

You doing this from Samsung My files app manager? Instead of copy use move

Did you format the SD card as exFAT?
