undervolting kernel question

Are there any drawbacks to undervolting your kernel? i know instablity, but i mean if i lower mine to the lowest it can go, will it fry? or can i just expect waaay better battery life?

Battery life wont improve a IMO noticeable deal. I've doinked around enough with it and just settled for a slight underolt to make myself feel better. Lock ups and crashing is just not worth getting an extra 5 minute out of 20 hours.
