"Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped"

From your wording, it sounds like you were able to download apps from somewhere other than the Play Store. Is that right? I've noticed also that if the time, or time zone is not correct things can get pretty weird. Would rebooting the router help in some of these cases?

Hi all.... i have similar problem on my asus me172v
I've tried everything but it was doing same thing. When i swich on my tablet it is like "unfortunately, processes on com.google has stoped" and when i click on my play store i can't open it and again it's like "unfortunately, google play store has stopped" Can somebody help? I've tried the system firmware update but there was that my system is up to date, i've also tried to clear cache and clear data in play store app's settings but it doesn't help.

Hi try resetting app preferences.
Settings, Apps, tap 3 dots button, reset preferences.

And if that doesn't work try resetting the date and time. :)
