"unfortunately messaging has stopped"

Please help! When im Texting suddenly it will freeze or the contacts that I'm texting will change to "Anonymous" then a notif will pop up "UNFORTUNATELY MESSAGING HAS STOPPED". i don't know what is wrong. It is because of the heavy use of texting? I tried the recommended solutions Settings>App Manager>Messaging then Clear Data. Just tried it now. still waiting for results. if someone knows other solutions please help. PLEASE HELP :'(

I don't know that this is the answer, but if it starts happening again after a while check the settings in the messaging app. There's an option to "Delete old messages." If this isn't checked, and you are a very heavy texter, it's possible that the storage allocated to messages is filling up and causing the problem.

Same problem with my s3 mini
