Ive recently bought a Samsung Gear 2 and really i was expecting a lot more of it, idk if it is because its Tizen or what but i think there should be plenty of apps for it that doesnt exist right now.

There should be at least decent apps like Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp (that actually allows you to reply to messages or something...)

I just want to leave my disagreement for this little Tizen based widget.... there´s too much potential unttapped....

I'll be happy to read about your comments

The Gear S has more apps but, it also has a larger screen. For me, I was excited by the number of apps that should be on the device. But, after using the Gear series for about 18 months now, I use it primarily for notifications. Maybe about 2% of the time I use it to reply to texts, emails, facebook, etc..The screen is just way to small to do anything with it and I found it faster just to take my phone out of my pocket and reply, etc..

So when I looked at my overall usage, I went with Android Wear. Overall, the devices are cheaper however, there is a lot more customization options such as watch faces, bands, etc...I doubt I will ever go back to a Tizen based watch.

I've asked myself the same thing too. I hardly even wear it anymore. I basically only use it for the time and and notifications. Thought it would be a whole lot more but the apps are all gimmicky and there is no big name apps. I wish I had saved my $199

Its to complement the phone. I am pleased. It makes things quicker. Notificationsseen. If phone in purse can take call from watch. I like it a lot

Agreed. I used to think I needed more apps, but seeing how I use it now I'm not sure I'd really need or use apps. The core functions of the watch are exactly my main purposes of using a smartwatch. I can quickly scan my schedule, get calls, control my bluetooth radio/Chromecast, get notifications and emails. I don't know that I really need to do more than that.
