Unlimited 4G LTE? AT&T SG3

Ok, so I live in a house where I get an E signal, 2 bars at most, and a long way away from a city. Last week I visited a place with a 4G LTE signal and it's been like that ever since. I was able to download 2 books on my phone and check my email. It behaves just like a real LTE signal would, but it's getting a bit freaky. What in the world could be wrong with my phone?

If you're still getting 4G LTE then you are in an area that gets that network signal. If you weren't you wouldn't be getting it.

no, but we live nowhere near a big city. the closest city that shows up on the weather channel is 30 minutes away. It's just farmland with a few houses. AT&T wouldn't make that area 4G LTE.

Maybe it's a glitch then where 4G LTE is being displayed but not actually used.. and as for the fast download speed with E-signal 2 bars? Maybe you downloaded on Wi-Fi?

If it says lte than its lte.

Reboot the phone, and see if it still says it's connected to LTE. If it does, then I think the towers in your areas must have been upgraded.

just rebooted my phone and it still says LTE. but why would AT&T upgrade the cell tower so that there is LTE, but not make it so you have more than 2 bars?

The reception part is due to your house. Just cause att or anybody else upgrade the towers don't mean u will have perfect reception everywhere u go.
