"Unlock Effect" missing from my lock screen settings

Me too I have android 6.0.1 it isn't working for me but maybe it works if
1-set your lock type to pattern lock
2-when you set to pattern . Restart your device
3-now go to unlock options
4-set it back to swipe effect
NOTE: USE original background to have more chance of success in that (it has 60% chance to work) after all . I didn't try . But if it works . Please reply to me that if it works or not and thanks

I've tried absolutely everything I can think of and my Samsung galazy s6 edge just doesn't seem to have the effect anymore. I updated it yesterday and now it's gone! I want it back.

In my note 5 is till missing that swipe effect

I've been reading ways to save battery and one of them was to turn off that annoying "popping colors" when I unlock my screen. Says to go to setting>lock screen>unlock effect...

Problem is that unlock effect is not there! I'm on AT&T and my friend is on Sprint and she has it in her settings. Is it an AT&T thing or a glitch on my phone? Anyone else come across this?

I had this setting before i updated to marshmallow...now i can not change the effect ������
