Unlock swipe function freeze - Motorola G5 Plus (Moto G5+)

2-3 times every day This problem occur.
When trying to unlock the phone by first pushing power button once then swiping the Lock-icon upwards, the phone do not react.

I thought the the problem was the fingerprint sensor, so that is enabled, still the problem occurs.

I have also reset the phone to factory settings, only keeping standard apps as FB, communicator, etc...
..It did not help..
Have you experienced anything similar?

Welcome to Android Central! Does it actually respond to your touch (i.e., you can see the lock swiping up), but it just doesn't go to the homescreen? Or does it seem like the screen doesn't respond to touch at all?

I have the same issue. When I push the side key to turn phone on, you see the lock on the bottom. It constantly happens that I try to swipe up and nothing happens as if I'm not even touching the screen. I usually have to wait a few minutes for it to work which of course, is frustrating.

I have the same issue. Phone locks automatically after around 1 minute and it doesn't recognize finger print neither swipe up to unlock it. The same in safe mode.

Is a screen protector on?
