It is weird that your Gear watch is not working becuase my gear fit 2 watch is working fine with the Beta. Very odd

LOL I accidentally just started downloading Beta again. Heck with this. I'm going to just let it download and stick it out. Hopefully in a couple weeks the bugs are worked out of it.

So I did a factory rest to my gear watch and dumb me now I can't get it connected to my phone because the app doesn't work on Beta to set it up. I will use my Dads Note 8 I guess to get the watch set up.

I tried downloading the gear app on my Tab s3 and it won't let me saying the app isn't compatible for my tablet.

(EDIT):The setting was changed in the update process. All is working.(EDIT) Anyone having issues with AOD working? Mine will no longer work.

Also I posted earlier about registering for the Beta and nothing happening, when I hit register it would just go back to the Samsung+ home screen and the option to get in the beta was still there. I had to clear the data and cache for Samsung+ for the entry into the Beta program work. If you didn't see a toast message saying you were accepted it did not work.

Indeed . That stupid person backed up his Pie version and attempted to restore it to Oreo. All went well except messages didn't restore. PS it was me.PPS I also lost Package disabler pro as well permanently.

That can happen
When your in beta and decide to back up it only can while in beta but if you go to oreo you lose that back up.
You need to back up before going to beta.

Running the second beta now. Might all be in my head but my battery seems to be draining a bit slower than beta 1.

I'd not seen any of the issues others may have reported in beta 1.

Wasn't it always under recent apps but with an X?

They tweaked the camera a little now u have to hit the button to the right to activate screen optimizer.

Dec security update for Note 9 on Oreo is out. I can update it because I rolled back to Oreo and it will want to update to Beta if I check for updates.

Should I unregister for the Beta program or stay on it? Also the Beta did they fix the Gear problem with the watch?

I cant say for the watch as I dont use one but I'll double check the notice again

im still puzzled by your watch issue. i installed the unlocked beta on my verizon model. and both of my watches worked fine. ( gear s3 and Galaxy watch ) and they switch like they should between the 2 also. i think maybe you should give it another try. i am currently updating to the new beta. i will let you know how they work with it.
