Unlocked S3 but no data

It says globle under the access points. And the phone is listed as Verizon, I think. I left the phone at a repair shop, but they are having trouble also.. everytime I try to make a call or text it says no network, even when it's showing full service.. I bought the phone off a guy And it worked fine for the first day I had it but then I did the factory reset on it then it messed up. I haven't been able to get a hold of the guy that I bought it from so I'm stuck. If u can help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks

It says unknown under the status...And it was under lte but now it's global.

I'm having the same issue. Samsung S3 on AT&T. The phone was purchased from AT&T by me in October 2012. I recently took a trip overseas and purchased a local SIM card for my phone. The shop I purchased it from unlocked the phone. Now that I am back to the US, the phone will only connect to EDGE. I've called AT&T repeatedly with no assistance. I have tried everything from this post, as well as rooting and installing factory mod. Any new ideas for fixing this?

im having the same issue cept my phone is a rooted verizon s3 on tmobile. i get data only when connected to wi-fi...any help? pleeeasE?
