How goes it people, I'm new to posting here, but have been rummaging around in the threads of AC, XDA, and a few other forums for a while now. I've had my EVO since September, and just recently rooted it (revolutionary.io method) because the stock 2.3.3 update was such a nightmare.
So getting to the crux of the issue; I tried flashing the latest Sprint Lover's Rom over the weekend and ran into a problem where a message came up while I was in RA recovery saying, "update script not found" and it stalled out there. I was able to restore a backup and everything's fine. Although, while I've been searching around I ran in to this thread/post on PPCGeeks mentioning that this particular error may be because the Nand is still locked. ([ROM] 08/03/11 | SPRINT LOVERS | 2.3.3 | 4.24.651.1 | Radio/Wimax/PRI All-In-One [Archive] - Page 2 - PPCGeeks) Several of the posters also mention something referred to Toast's method to root and unlock. I guess what I'm wondering is, would anyone know if that method and/or the files related to that method are still current to unlock nand? Any responses are very much appreciated.
P.S. I checked out the revolutionary.io site (the wiki to be exact) and noticed that they don't list the EVO 4g under the "permanently unlocked Nandroid" list.
