On the apps for Messaging and e-Mail, it shows the count of unread but as soon as I open the app, it appears to clear the count, whether I have actually read any of them or not. Has anyone else seen this? So for example, if I have received 2 text messages, it will show 2 on the icon but if I open the Messaging app but don't actually read any of the text messages, it will now show 0 unread.
Is this something I am missing in the settings where it will show it consistently? I am coming from a S3, which showed a count of all unread, whether I had opened the application or not.
Other than that, great device so far. Performance is great.
