Unusual battery drainage on my Asus Zenfone?

So i recently replace my battery because my old battery drain so fast, The new battery is really good it last for a long time too. But the problem is when the battery is in 100 or under 40 it drain so fast like the old battery? what is the problem with my phone?

My phone is ASUS zenfone max pro m1

Hi there. Did you replace it with a genuine Asus battery or a generic one? Sometimes generic batteries won't work as well as a genuine one.
