upcoming smartphones to wait for?

I've had an LG G2 for a couple of years now (I got it on launch date in 2013 but had it replaced once for touch screen issue). Overall I'm happy with it, but it's starting to wonk out on me (finnicky headphone jack, etc.). I'd really like to get a new phone but I will likely get it at full retail price since I have an unlimited data plan.

I know the galaxy S6 came out recently but I am not a huge fan. I'm also not a fan of the new iphones getting released this week. Aside from these 2 phones, what other new flagship phones are worth waiting for? I thought i saw the xperia was going to be released sometime soon, but that phone is already almost a year old.

any other unlocked options that might work on VZW?

You can also get good deals on the Motorola Nexus 6, though it definitely isn't new. However, it's still very capable.

Z4 was announced in May, and think we may get the Z5? But, if the Z3v is any indication Verizon maybe an issue here when it comes updates.

The new blackberry looks good and the new droid turbo 2/force or whatever they call it looks awesome too and rumors are you can use design your own on Moto Maker.
