Update bricked Verizon S22 Plus

Is there ANY recourse to getting a bricked phone replaced by Verizon? It worked perfectly, did the automatic update, and it's bricked. Tried soft reboot, tried running out battery and hard reboot, TOTALLY dead black screen.

We didn't damage it, only had it a year. Do I really need to buy a new phone when their update broke it?

Welcome to AC!
S22 was released around February so you still have warranty can you get into recovery while phone off before restart hold volume up and power button same time then factory reset

If can't do that try letting it charge for few hours then see if when connected to computer it recognized the phone
