Update issue concerning messaging

since the update I haven't been able to view my messages while typing them on the google voice & twitter apps.anyone have this same issue? any suggestions on how to fix this?

What update are you referring to? The Verizon Galaxy Note II hasn't received any updates. Do you mean updates to the apps you referenced? I use Google Voice daily and haven't had any issues
viewing while typing in it. Sometimes when composing in Google Voice the words are just below the line showing the word predictions. I had the same behavior on my Galaxy Nexus using Google Voice.
