Update to 4.4.4 for AT&T

I spoke with someone at AT&T today. It will be soon that Samsung will release the Lollipop update, then AT&T will put put their updates in to release it, which should be 'soon'.

No 4.4.4 update from ATT so far. It is bad.

I've been checking daily. I went to BestBuy the other day and they didn't have anything nor did they have the Lollipop 5.0; this is getting frustrating seeing Verizon, T-Mobile, & Sprint release updates and AT&T hasn't done anything!!!!!!!!!!!

I found out that the reason the Android Wear app doesn't work is because my phone hasn't been upgraded to 4.4.4. I am still on 4.4.2 and that version doesn't support Android Wear on my S 5 Active. So, my brand new LG G Watch R doesn't work through Android Wear on my Active. Bummmmmr.

It would be nice if AT&T would release the 4.4.4 OS or be the first U.S. carrier to release the official Lollipop 5.0 OS.....

With all the issues people have been having with 4.4.4 and 5.0,i think I'll wait for 6.0 😂😂😂

You're lucky he didn't hose your phone. I wouldn't let anyone at best buy touch anything of mine.

I have nothing but good with the Samsung Reps at Best Buy.
When I went from the iPhone 5 to the Samsung S5. They took my phone, Put smart switch on it. And transferred all my contacts and all.
Put in my Gmail address and had me to put the password in. They set up all of my mail and everything.
Phone was ready to use.

On my buddys S5 he bought on Ebay. I got the Settings on this forum for straight talk.
Since I've never setup a S5 I went to another Best Buy. And the Samsung Rep setup the APN setting for Straight talk and the phone.
Its working in the LTE network.

So I have nothing but good to say about Best Buy.

Well said! I haven't had any problems when I've gone in myself.

Since updating to 4.4.4 I have notice that the S Health app step count is not showing up on the lock screen now. I like that I could stay up on how many steps I had taking during the day. Has anyone else notice that its missing now from the lock screen.

I've had that happen on my Sprint S5 with updates to the S Health App, usually I have to open it or go into the Galaxy Apps store to get it to work. Sometimes it's just opening S Health, but sometimes it needs a service update a la a downloaded update to something on the back end for S Health.

Yay 4.4.4😐 took them long enough, probably be December before 5.0

I think mine initially was missing but came back this morning. I haven't battery pulled yet either.

Same here but I opened the app and then restarted my phone and it came back. It took a while though...

The only issue I'm facing now is that my background doesn't appear when I'm in the recent apps page. It's just a blue screen now. It showed before the update... Not a big deal but I haven't been able to figure out how to get it back (I even changed backgrounds and lock screen wallpaper)

Just updated to 4.4.4. No issues so far. Could have done without the extra apps that I probably won't use but it's no big deal.

My step count still has not shown back up on the lock screen. I hope they it comes back or that they put out an update for Shealth that fixes it. Nowe i have wake up the device and unlock the screen to see the widget that I enabled. Love to have it back on the lock screen. I have pulled the battery and opened up Shealth and nothing seems to work to get it back on the lock screen.

Anyone have any other suggestions other then a complete reset of the phone.

Called AT&T today. Aske them why we got Kitkat 4.4.4.
And not lollipop.
They said that was the next update.
Sorry we was not interested in 4.4.4
What's Up with lollipop.
They coudn't find a answer.
Said I would have to wait.

4.4.4 is a prerequisite for Lollipop. You can't go to Lollipop from 4.4.2
