Update to 4.4.4 for AT&T

Was kind of perturbed about that added att email, but I didn't realize it had my yahoo account on it. That yahoo email app has been giving me the blues. The att email app is working nicely.

i have the att samsung s5 i tried updating but it says that i have the latest firm! which is 4.4.2?! how do i make it 4.4.4?

The update came to some people on Tuesday, but mine didn't come until this morning. You will get it eventually. They push them out In stages .

ohh ok hmm well idk all day my wifi on my phone keeps connecting and disconnecting its acting weird do u think its cause they are trying to push it to my phone messing it up?

I'm not sure about that. If they push it to your phone there will be two arrows at the top of the screen.

One way you can get the update is to call AT&T and ask them to push it to your phone. I called them and explained I read about the update on this site, and was able another S5 on the AT&T Network without a problem but unable to update mine. They did it with out a problem!

AT&T pushed the 4.4.4 update to my phone just now...installed it - the only thing I have done so far was I used Google Play Music for about an hour- didn't get the usual drops using Bluetooth that I got with 4.4.2 - maybe they fixed it...Hope they found the other problem with Play Music where some music tracks speeds up and slow down....No other issues yet

Since the update to 4.4.4 has anyone had issues with the home button and google now? Now almost every time I hit my home button, it loads google now. Very annoying.

@ Shane C. It rolls out in alotments just in case there are unknown problems - Think of it as a lottery, any day could be your lucky day
Just kick back & it will hit your phone in good time - then you can obsess over when lollipop will hit AT&T

I've been using the update (4.4.4) and like the predecessor (4.4.2), I'm still having trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi. I called into AT&T and they told me I should do a master re-set.

I had done a master re-set but it seems I connect, loose connection, connect, loose connection, and then re-connect multiple times to the same Wi-Fi spot. The person at AT&T said sind I had an upgrade available, I should just upgrade or pay the $199 for the warranty exchange.

Anyone have suggestions.

I am having this exact same problem. I have a ATT S5, but I'm on straight talk and every time I try to manually update it keeps telling me I have the latest update.

I had (have) the same problem with updating mine. I went to an att core (corporate) store and had them try the update. They got att support on the line, and we're still unable to update it. They are sending me a refurbished replacement phone, no charge. I am under warranty though on mine.

Paying for an upgrade is ridiculous, unless you are out of warranty. If it were me, and I was out of warranty, I'd just get a custom rom installed and forget att updates.
