Update to GSII?

With all of this talk of the ICS update to the GSII, I have a question. I have the unlocked GT-I9100, so when (or if) the update finally goes out, do I need to do anything special to update it? I know about the settings and checking for the update, but I am wondering if that is all I would need to do? BTW, my GSII is factory fresh, not rooted or customer ROMs running on it. Thanks for any info

None actually, if you will use Samsung Kies.
Just plug it on your PC and walla!
Btw, you should update your Kies(desktop).

Samsung clarified that the ICS update will be done only through Kies (the samsung desktop software).
Also you need to update the Kies to version 2.0 or higher. Kies v1.5 cannot handle the ICS upgrade.

Once your Kies software is updated, just plug in your device to the PC. If there is any update available, Kies will prompt to install the update. Else, it would show that the device is on latest firmware.
