Update to kitkat on nextbok 8 (Nx008hd8g)?

I ave a friend that lives in New Zealand and she just bought one of these tablets today. She is wanting to download kom hobbit but it says that she needs to update the firmware. She is on 4.1.1 but she needs to be on kitkat. I could not find an update on there website or anywhere on the web. Can someone help me?
