Update Verizon S6 Without Verizon Sim?

I bought the Verizon GS6 from bestbuy cause of a price match error (full price $550) and I am using T-Mobile on it (which runs flawlessly BTW) I'm guessing I need a Verizon simcard to update cause it won't let me check. Can I update by downloading the update from my laptop and putting in system storage? or an external SD? (I have an OTG Cable)

I assume it's a Verizon S6 (920V).

In any case, bring it to Best Buy, find the Samsung rep (in the cellphone area - the person wearing the light blue polo shirt with the Samsung logo) and ask if s/he can please flash the update for you. They'll do that. (If they brick your phone, they'll replace it. If you brick it, you'll pay the $150 replacement fee if you bought Best Buy insurance.)

Back the phone up first, just in case (Backing up an Android Device).

There's no way for me to manually download the update and just hold in the power, V Down and Home button and update it from that menu?
