UPDATED: Announcement on September 29th. Pre-Order on October 13th?

As long as the screen stays in the 5-5.2" range, I can't see how I won't be OK with the overall size. What my brother apparently has is the Moto X Pure. Like I said, it just seemed much bigger than what I'd ever want.

Although I probably said the same sorts of things about my first smartphone, the original Droid Razr Maxx, which was significantly smaller than its replacement, the S5

what are the chances the Nexus 5 2015 will work on Verizon's network?

Can you link where that information is coming from? I remember that @OnLeaks suggested those dimensions over a month ago with the idea (at that time) that the 5X was going to be a metal phone. Obviously things have changed a bit. Likewise, I don't recall anyone else independently confirming those dimensions. @OnLeaks himself was mindful enough to indicate that they were "rough" dimensions for the phone. Yeah I'm assuming those leaks are correct. They usually are this close to announcement.

It'd be nice to see otherwise upon official release. But it's still a guaranteed increase over the original Nexus 5 in any case.

when it comes to Verizon it's anyone's guess ... hopefully it will, but we'll have to wait before we find out.

I'm hoping the Moto X pure edition set a precedence and the new Google Nexus devices will follow in the same way by working on all major networks by just putting in your sim.

I am seeing rumors of the Huawei version coming with the Internal Storage being 128 GB.
Wacky if true.
