Updates in External Storage?

So I've noticed that whenever Google updates an app, it moves the app I had moved to external storage back to internal storage. I have some huge apps Like Microsoft Office that are updated fairly regularly and take up a lot of room... This is a problem... Any solutions? I'm aware of of the procedure for making an external card look like internal storage (adoptable storage). Any other suggestions?

Here's how to configure adoptable storage on your S7 / S7 Edge - Android - MoDaCo

I think doing the adoptable storage modification would be the best bet.

That's what I'm going to do I guess. I ordered the sandisk 200gb from Amazon...

Nice that should give you a ton of space to use. You can probably format it to a 50 / 50 ratio 100GB adoptable and 100GB external.
