Samsung is pushing the Tab S6 all over Facebook and other ads,but they don't seem to care about it enough to do updates. It's still on the Dec 1st security update and Android 9. It feels like a dead product they are trying to sell.
My S10+ just received the April 1 security update, so why is this so fa tdd behind?

Tablets always slower to get updates. May be one day will get it as fast as phones. Samsung came a long way in the last few years with updating phones. Tablets will follow at some point. Tab s6 is not a dead product. It's the best android tablet on the market.

I can understand being slow on updating to Android 10 or a month or so behind on security updates, but 4 months behind is crazy. It is a great tablet, but needs security updates.

They've always had most tablets as quarterly updates for security since they started doing "regular" updates.

I'm assuming the most recent quarterly update was delayed as they bundled it together with Android 10. They are bypassing Samsung One UI 2.0 and jumping straight to One UI 2.1, which is just now starting to roll out to the Note 10 and Galaxy s10 devices, so good for Samsung to make that leap rather than making us wait even longer for that upgrade.

I'm located in the Philippines and just now completed the FIRST SECURITY UPATE I've seen offered for the S6. Now to check out the new Android 10 OS.
